Marian Butterfield (Becky), age 86,of Seal Beach, California, passed away on April 14, 2016.

Marian was born on October 31,1929 in Fargo, North Dakota and spent her early childhood on the family farm in Glyndon, Minnesota and her teen years in Moorhead, Minnesota.

She graduated from Moorhead (MN)High School and Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND.  She then worked in the office of Nodak Tractor Company.

As a young woman, she moved to Long Beach, California, and utilized her business skills working in offices prior to her first marriage and rearing her 4 children.

In mid-life she resumed working.  She was a successful sales associate for A-1 Appliance, Long Beach—continuing at A-1 until her retirement.

Marian Butterfield is preceded in death by her husband, Norm Whittleton, daughter, Judy Touhy, and brother,Donald Bekkerus.

Marian Butterfield is survived by:

Children (3), Jan (Robert)Honeyman, Jay Butterfield, and Joyce Bordelon.

Siblings (3), Jean (Vernon)Berkness, Allen (Marlene) Bekkerus, Shirley Richard) Glenn, and Sister-in-Law,Deloris Bekkerus.

Grandchildren (7), Shaun, Kevin,Betsy, Jeffery, Kimberly, Brittney and Madison.

Great-Grandchildren (10), Shaun, Destany, Alexandrea,Brianna, Savannah, Jonathan, Kayla, Billy, Candice, and Riley arriving July 2016.

Marian will be dearly missed.  She always had a smile and sweet demeanor.
